London Day 31: Downe, England

Jacket Potatoes= Baked Potatoes

As you probably know, I geek-out about cemeteries.  Luckily for me, there was a lovely one right next to the bus stop in Downe, where Darwin and his large family attended services and even some are interred there.  Interestingly enough, they were not the same sect so for various divergent parts of the prayers that were not in alignment with their practices, they'd literally turn and face away from those praying to show clearly that they were not participating.  The children thought it was ridiculous, but everyone in the family was required to do it.

Volunteers cleaning the old chapel.

They have the strangest signs in England!
